What is the difference Between Microbladed, Ombre and Combination Brow Treatments?

No one method is definitively the best: it all comes down to personal choice and your skin type and colouring.

Microblading

Microblading took the beauty industry by storm. A natural-looking brow can be achieved with a hand-held tool, that creates hair-like impressions with pigment under the skin. Microblading is intended to resemble individual hairs, not to fill in your brows.

Ombre Powder Fill

The ombre powder brows technique has been around for years but has been improving. This method is more like a tattoo, involving the application of tiny dots of pigment into the skin, which gradually build colour and shape. The downside of this approach can be a rather unnatural “filled in” look to the brows, although it is possible for a skilled technique to create a more natural-looking graduated finish.

Combination Brows

The hybrid brow is almost exactly what it sounds like: it is a combination of the best bits of microblading and ombre brows. A combination of microbladed strokes and powder fill gives you an incredibly natural-looking brow. It is a more defined and filled in look than just microblading alone, but also a bit less dramatic and solid than the ombre powder fill technique. Your brows can be customised specifically for you based on your desired look, your skin type and colouring, and even your bone structure. No two clients will suit the same brow design and this hybrid method allows for the best of both worlds.
