2022 was another difficult year for many of us, but we are happy for it to end and we are ready for the New Year.
Liverpool Beauty Treatments at Beauty by Ruth
When she was 14 years old, Ruth visited a nail salon with her mum and was gifted a manicure treatment as a gift. This was the start of Ruth’s love of the beauty industry. After two weeks’ work experience at a placement in the same the same salon she found herself hooked for life! By 1997, Ruth had enrolled in a 2-year NVQ Course to study the basics of beauty and become a Liverpool beauty therapist. This led to her getting NVQ Levels 1,2 and 3 in beauty. Ruth’s passion for learning about the beauty industry did not end there; she went on and self-funded and passed her nail course, at the same time as studying for her NVQs, and she subsequently took and passed a 2-week residential course with the College of Foot Health Practitioners.
By far Ruth’s greatest passion in life is serving her local community – Maghull – with a range of beauty services. When she first opened up her Liverpool Beauty salon, Beauty by Ruth, over 20 years ago, Ruth’s ambition was to make a true ‘one stop beauty shop’, which she has been successful in.
