What is an alkaline wash?
A DMK alkaline wash Liverpool treatment is comprised of a powder which is mixed into a paste and applied onto the skin. It is used where there is hair to be treated. The treatment works by dissolving part of the underlying hair follicle and releasing the hair.
Which areas can be treated with an alkaline wash?
DMK’s Alkaline Wash is a remarkable treatment for all areas of the face and body. It is designed to reduce fine, downy hair. This is a type of hair that is very difficult to remove with other methods because the growth is dense and therefore would take a long time to treat with electrolysis. Does Alkaline Wash Hurt?

After your first treatment, your hair will grow back at its normal rate, but as the treatments go on, the regrowth rate becomes slower and the hair weakens; usually resulting in permanent loss. The treatment is pain-free, but in some cases the area appears red and warm. This is normal and it will subside after a very short time.
